Samsung Electronics opens Artificial Intelligence Center at White Square

May 5, 2018. Samsung Electronics has opened its new Russian Artificial Intelligence Center at the White Square business centre, which is owned and managed by O1 Properties. The new facility takes up 2,047 metres of space at White Square. The consultant for the transaction and fit out was CBRE.

Pavel Barbashev, the Director of Asset Management and Leasing at O1 Properties, said: “White Square remains one of the most prestigious business developments in Moscow, and is a favored choice for companies, which need to be at the heart of business life. A prestigious office upholds brand reputation and can be a key advantage in attracting the best staff, which is particularly important for companies at the forefront of new product development."

Marianna Bichoeva, Deputy Director of the Office Property Department at CBRE, said:"The vacancy rate in the class-A and B office segment in the central business district of Moscow has fallen substantially and stood at 8% by the end of the first quarter of 2018. Although many companies are moving their offices outside the Third Transport Ring, which bounds the central district, a central location remains of paramount importance for large international and Russian companies. Samsung has made the right choice by placing its Artificial Intelligence Center in White Square, which is one of the most prestigious business sites in Moscow.”

White Square is located close to Belorusskaya metro station and consists of three buildings connected by a pedestrian zone with developed infrastructure. The complex is certified to the BREEAM international standard of environmental efficiency.
